Easter egg hunt

Had a great time last night with friends. My best girl had organized a brunch with an easter egg hunt in the end. The night also included heavy drinking and hard core Eurovision Song Contest watching. And dreaming about the trip ahead... Oh how I wish it was May, I want to get away from this ice age!!!

The egg hunt was a bit frustrating for impatient a person :D But rewarding, haha!

And like I mentioned before, there was some heavy drinking afterwards... Well maybe not heavy, but lasted 'til the wee hours of the morning.

Also the daylight saving time ended(?) last night.. Well the clocks were turned forward... I looked and it was 2.52am and suddenly it was 4.08am :( So an hour was nicked from the partytime. I was at home 6am.. And tomorrow I'm supposed to wake up for work... Oh yay.

Friday dinner

Easter comes with it benefits, even though I'm a raging atheist. So today I headed for a dinner at my dads! Good old lamb roast, with potatoes and assorted grilled veggies. Just the way I like it!

 

On the way back home I stopped at the only Starbucks there is in Finland, at the airport. Bought myself a mug finally!!! And a thermomug... As if I ever use them, but in case I need one i have one :D I would've also bought some coffee, but they were whole beans, and I don't own a grainer :(

Now I should get ready to go to bed really! I only woke up at 12.30pm today.. And tomorrow I should almost be out the door at that hour.

Kansalaisaloite tasa-arvoisesta avioliittolaista Suomen nykyinen lainsäädäntö asettaa ihmiset eriarvoiseen asemaan. Vain nainen ja mies voivat avioitua keskenään. Rekisteröidyssä parisuhteessa olevilla pareilla on samat velvollisuudet muttei samoja oikeuksia. Tasa-arvoinen avioliittolaki takaisi jokaiselle oikeuden mennä avioliittoon riippumatta puolison sukupuolesta. Näin kaikki parit olisivat lain edessä yhdenvertaisia.

C'mon spring!

Spring - navy inspiration.

Pakkasta ja lunta. Ja maaliskuun loppu häämöttää jo. Ihanaa, että aurinko paistaa, mutta voisiko nämä kylmät ilmavirtaukset vai mitä nyt ovatkaan häipyä näiltä main ja antaa tuon auringon sulattaa lumet?! Varsinkin tällä määrällä lunta, kestää ikuisuus ennen kuin se on sulanut ja näin ollen ikuisuus ennenkuin pääsee pussikaljalle... ;)

Keväästä haaveillessa sitä haaveilee myös uusista vaatteista ja varsinkin talvitakin alta kuoriutumisesta. Tilasinkin tuossa taannoin itselleni kevättakkeja, kevätkenkiä ja muutamia paitoja. Tällaisessa ensemblessa näen itseni kävelevän Kaivopuistonrannassa ottamassa valokuvia:

Got myself an instant camera for my birthday :)

Yksi asia mistä olen jo vuosia haaveillut on polaroid-kamera. Ebaysta olen niitä katsonut ja jonkin verran löytänytkin. Ongelmaksi on muodostunut se, ettei kameroihin enää tehdä filmejä. Noh, pyöriessäni Stockmannilla löysin korvaavan tuotteen. Fujifilmin Instax-kameran. Kuvat on puolet pienempiä, luottokortin kokoisia, mutta ajaa saman asian. Ilmeisesti näitä kameroita on eri kokoisia, mutta Stockalla en nähnyt kuin tämän. Itse kamera on edullinen n. €90, mutta filmi onkin sitten huomattavasti kalliimpaa. Yhden kuvan hinnaksi tulee €1. Ettei ihan jokapäiväiseen käyttöön sovellu ainakaan näillä tuloilla. Ostin kameran kuitenkin synttärilahjaksi itselleni. Sitä ei saisi käyttää alle +5 asteessa, joten en ole päässyt testailemaan kameraa ulkona. Yhden filmiboksin, jossa on siis 10 kuvaa, käytin pelkästään kameran testaamiseen. Suurin osa otetuista kuvista oli, yllätys yllätys, kissoista.

There are no words! Rakastan Stockmannin sushi- baaria. Koska olen laiska tekemään eväitä töihin, käyn silloin tällöin ennen töitä nappaamassa kunnon satsin töihin mukaan. En ole vielä törmännyt yhtä hyvään takeout-paikkaan, sushin suhteen, Helsingissä. Ehdotuksia otetaan vastaan.
