30 day music challenge #2

30 day music challenge
Your least favorite song:

(I cannot stress it enough that I HATE this song!)

I graduated once too

Graduation season is among us! Thousands will graduate from one school or another on Saturday, others have graduated a week or so ago.

I've graduated twice. There was the high school a gazillion years ago. I remember I wore a pale blue dress and white sandals with a block heel so high they draw the focus to themselves on the pictures... I've pretty much always been the tallest of my friends, even though I'm not even 170cm tall.. So everytime I wore heels I felt like an amazon. I've gotten to know taller people since :D

My second graduation was from nursing school. A year late I might add. I've also always been a major procrastinator. This is what my graduation looked like. In the middle of the winter of 2011.

30 day music challenge #1

Now this challenge I like... although it's a tough one! I'm playing this by the day and so what I state as a favorite this minute, might not be so on another day!

Return to ESC

So it's been a couple of weeks since the most awesome event of the spring. The Eurovision song Contest final. So how did your favorites do? Were you happy with the winner?

To me it seemed the politics have returned to the ESC. I mean seriously, who in their right mind would've voted for Russia or Ukraine? Their songs sucked. (I guess now I can wait for the militia to turn up on my frontstep.) And what was Azerbaijan doing second??? C'mon people! So that being said, although far from my favorite, and despite me being annoyed that a pre-selected favorite won again, I was happy that the win went to a Nordic country. Or anywhere in western Europe for that matter. I don't know what the voting should be like, because it just basically irritates the shit out of me. Do people really listen to that bad a music??? Anyway, despite not winning I was happy that Norway and Greece were both in the top 10! But I guess I have to wait another 10 years before a favorite of mine will win...

Alcohol is free?

Crackers with cream cheese and strawberries :P~

Meanwhile in the mail

Ah, my beauty products arrived while I was on holiday! I buy the shampoos etc mainly from Feelunique. The blonde hair needs a lot of maintaining... And Redken -products are much cheaper to buy online than from a store here. Besides the glam blonde -series I also use silver spray to prevent the hair from turning yellow.

I also bought my favourite perfume online for the first time. Again a lot cheaper than buying it here.. No wonder Finland rules the statistics in expensive countries.. I can't seriously think of anything that is cheap here... All my necessities I can buy online from another European country with less money.

Rhodes pt 3: Eating and drinking

The food was so good in Rhodes. I really need to learn how to make souvlaki and kokkinisto! Maybe even moussaka. Gyros might be too challenging...

The drinks were good too :P Gin tonics at the beach. And we found a perfect cocktail bar appropriately named 'Local bar' we went there 3 times. Would've probably gone there every night had we found it on the first night! The first two days we stayed in Ixia.

100th

This is my 100th blogpost in this version of the blog.

First and foremost a big thank you to my readers!

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what kind of special thing should I do for the 100th. The only thing I could think of was a giveaway. Google search didn't give me any more ideas either.

So I was thinking about the giveaway, but decided against it. I think it's too early and I wouldn't mind a few more readers before I venture into the whole giveaway-scene. So maybe we'll return to that idea around the 500th post ;)

So, what to do with this then? What to do with my blog all in all?

I will try to improve my blog for sure. The plan is to have more outfit photos, more makeup photos, better reviews of products I try/use. The blog is still trying to find it's path with the posts being all over the place, I have no idea to what direction it's heading. Baby steps, eh?

I love getting comments, even if I don't always respond to them. So please, keep commenting! I'm also open to requests.

Which brings me to the last thing of this post. Now it's your turn. Tell me what would you like to see more in the blog? Any suggestions on how to improve the blog? Any post requests?

Rhodes shopping pt 2: I must have this!

Now I'm gonna show off what else I bought. From shops that don't exist in Finland. That's always a reason enough for me!

My most important buy to shield me from sunstroke was this:

My beloved stetson!!! ❤ From some tourist shop...

I was happily surprised when I saw there was a Sephora at the town centre! Could've bought the whole shop, but then I just settled for these. On the last day I was on my way over there again to buy some lipstick, but the Sephora -part was torn apart!!!!! I just hope it's up and running if I ever go there again!

I tried the blue eye shadow and was really happy with it! And the blush! It goes very well with a tanned skin!!! The purple eye shadow is yet to be tried.

The eye makeup remover was cheap and good. Not as oily as the M.A.C. one I've  been using, so I bought two  just to have them last a while!
These couple of items I bought from a store called Terranova, it's a clothing store, but due to being plus-sized I didn't even realy look at the clothes.. Apart from the tourist shops I didn't see any clothes bigger than L anywhere...

These I got from Colosseum another clothes store. Smaller than Terranova but with more accessories, shoes and bags! I really liked that store ;)

I was actually surprised these fit awesomely!

A flowery snood and a moustache scarf!
