Tuesday, family night.

On Tuesday my dad invited us kids for dinner and to sort of celebrate my brothers birthday. The days when you go somewhere, but don't have to work are the best, you can dress up, out on a load make up and do your hair. I also opened on of my new perfumes, Versaces Bright Crystal.

Päivällinen koostui espanjalaistyyppisestä tapaksesta alkuruokana ja perus suomalaisesta lohesta pääruoaksi. Jälkkäriksi oli lettuja, nam! Isäni kokkaa todella hyvin.

For dinner we had a Spanish type of tapas as starter and basic Finnish salmon for the main course and pancakes for dessert. My dad cooks really well.

Ja tältä näytti naamani! Tällä kertaa testasin Kat von D:n meikkivoidetta, ja olin siihen todella tyytyväinen! Huulipuna on Colourpopin Ultra Satin Lip, sävyssä Ambush, voitin sen itse Esteettistä Mielihyvää-blogin jouluarvonnassa.

And this was my face! This time I tried out Kat von D's foundation and was very satisfied!!! The lipstick is by Colourpop,  ultra satin lip in shade Ambush, which I won from another blogs Christmas calendar.

Vaatetuksenani oli joskus viime vuonna tilattu, mutta vasta nyt korkattu H&M:n punainen pitsimekko.

I was wearing I dress I bought way back when from H&M, but I just now used for the first time.

Tallinn!

So, I spent the weekend in Estonia, near Tallinn. So of course we visited Tallinn. On the first night we went out to eat and on Saturday we did a bit of shopping. Not a lot at all to tell you the truth, there wasn't enough time. Anyway here are a few photos of the beautiful city of Tallinn. My image of the city took a big step up I gotta say! I wish there were less Finnish tourists though ;)

The old town:

Friday we ate at a restaurant called Olde Hansa with a Middle Ages theme. It was superdark!

What have I gotten myself into?

This is me, being a drama queen...
So, as I mentioned earlier this week, I'm off to a "health center" in Estonia for the weekend. I've just thoroughly read the website AND even watched a shortfilm they had made to show their services and such.
I'm severely traumatized! WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THERE??!?!?!?!?!?

  • Weekly handicraft classes and cheerful common activities in our activity room have a therapeutic effect on guests of any age and health condition.
  • Healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner is served in our spacious canteen.
  • Daily outdoor activities replenish health and provide good pastime.
  • There are also quiet corners perfect for reading and making new friends!
Yeah, that's just me! I love doing handicrafts and meeting new old people... Why have I promised to stay the whole weekend? Why wasn't I informed of the real nature of the trip? Why don't I have a license and a car so I could at least drive off somewhere? How many books do I have to bring with me to keep myself entertained to some extent? I think I'm dying. I think this is the first time ever that I can say, without a doubt, I'd rather be at work.

A geriatric weekend

This is where I'm off to next this coming weekend. A little villa outside Tallinn, Estonia. Feels a bit weird to go to a villa meant basically for rehabilitation and care for old people o_O Even though it is for my grandfathers 85th birthday. I'm sure the grandparents would've been fine in  a hotel!!! I have absolutely no idea what has been planned for the weekend. The shallow side of me wishes to go shopping in Tallinn for like an hour...

I wonder if there's a dresscode in this place...

Friday dinner

Easter comes with it benefits, even though I'm a raging atheist. So today I headed for a dinner at my dads! Good old lamb roast, with potatoes and assorted grilled veggies. Just the way I like it!

On the way back home I stopped at the only Starbucks there is in Finland, at the airport. Bought myself a mug finally!!! And a thermomug... As if I ever use them, but in case I need one i have one :D I would've also bought some coffee, but they were whole beans, and I don't own a grainer :(

Now I should get ready to go to bed really! I only woke up at 12.30pm today.. And tomorrow I should almost be out the door at that hour.

Me and my mug <3 br="">
